Master of Information Technology

The Master of Information Technology (KIT) programme offers flexible study modes to suit different needs. It is a research degree by thesis under the supervision of experienced members of academic staff or a supervisory panel. For full-time students, the minimum duration of study is 2 years, equivalent to 4 semesters, while the maximum duration allowed is 4 years, or 8 semesters. For part-time students, the programme can be completed in a minimum of 3 years, spanning 6 semesters, and must be completed within a maximum of 5.5 years, which covers 11 semesters.

The progress of a research student is monitored and assessed by the supervisor at the end of each semester. A final assessment is made through the thesis prepared by the student and an oral examination. A student who has satisfied the Examination Committee in all aspects of their work is eligible for the award of the master's degree.
