This programme aims to produce semi-professional human resource based on the following programme educational objectives.
Course Aims
The objective of the programme is to produce semi-professionals human resource that:
- Apply theoretical and practical knowledge in solving pure and applied science problems.
- Practice knowledge effectively, professionally and ethically in issues of pure and applied science.
- Interact with professionals and the community effectively to carry out leadership responsibilities in an organization.
- Develop career development and entrepreneurship in lifelong learning.
Career Prospect
Applied science covers a broad field, which include food technology, industrial chemistry, biotechnology, forensic science and applied physics. Career prospects for graduates of this programme include Science Officer and Assistant Laboratory Assistant in the industrial sector or research centres.

MEMENUHI SYARAT AM DAN SYARAT KHAS UNIVERSITI
Lepasan SPM perlu mendapat sekurang-kurangnya:
- Kepujian gred (C) dalam mana-mana DUA (2) mata pelajaran berikut:
- Matematik / Fizik / Kimia / Biologi / Matematik Tambahan / Sains / Sains Tambahan
dan
- Kepujian gred (C) dalam mana-mana SATU (1) mata pelajaran yang belum di kira di peringkat SPM tidak termasuk mata pelajaran berikut:
- Bahasa Melayu
- Sejarah
dan
- Lulus (Gred E) dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggeris di peringkat SPM
ATAU
Lulus APEL A Tahap 4
dan
Calon TIDAK mempunyai ketidakupayaan anggota yang menyukarkan kerja amali.
