About This Programme

To produce graduates who are competent to fulfill the nation needs of skill and expert workers in the field of Electrical Engineering whether in the public, private or self employed sector. The programme also prepares students to further their studies to degree level at any local or international university.

Course Aims

Program Educational Objectives are to produce an Electrical Assistant Engineer that are able to:

  1. Competent in the field of Electrical Engineering to fulfil the needs of organization and industry.
  2. Able to adapt generic skills holistically as professional technician practices.
  3. Realize to the important of life long learning and contribute through ethical and social work to the society continuously.

Career Prospects

Graduates of this programme are eligible to begin their career in these fields:

  • Authority / Utilities
    Example: Energy Commission, DOSH, Niosh, TNB, IPPs
  • Engineering in Manufacturing, Consultancy, Research and Development (R&D), and Academic.

    Example: Sales and Project

    Example: Project Management
  • Testing and Commissioning

MEMENUHI SYARAT AM DAN SYARAT KHAS UNIVERSITI

 Lepasan SPM perlu mendapat sekurang-kurangnya:

  1. Kepujian (Gred C) dalam mata pelajaran Matematik di peringkat SPM

dan

Kepujian gred (C) dalam mana-

  1. mana DUA (2) mata pelajaran berikut yang diambil di peringkat SPM:
  • Fizik / Kimia / Biologi / Matematik Tambahan / Sains / Sains Tambahan / Grafik Komunikasi Teknikal / Asas Kelestarian / Pertanian / Sains Rumah Tangga / Reka Cipta / Sains Komputer / Sains Sukan / Pengajian Kejuruteraan Elektrik dan Elektronik / Pengajian Kejuruteraan Mekanikal / Pengajian Kejuruteraan Awam / Lukisan Kejuruteraan.

dan

  1. Lulus (Gred E) dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggeris di peringkat SPM

ATAU

Lulus APEL A Tahap 4

dan

Calon TIDAK buta warna dan mempunyai ketidakupayaan anggota yang menyukarkan kerja amali.
