About This Programme

Mechanical Engineering Technology (Automotive) programme (BNG) aims to develop understanding of the automotive technology, diagnosis, and vehicle production. Furthermore, the programme will prepared graduates with knowledge, problem solving skills and experiences in the field to enter into the respective careers in any automotive industries. The rapid growth of industrial technology in Malaysia and globally had created huge demand for automotive technologist, production technologist, product technologist, designer, researchers and academicians.

Course Aims

The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Technology (Automotive) with Honours programme prepares graduates to be:

  • Practice with fundamental and current knowledge in mechanical engineering technology in line with industrial development specializing in automotive engineering.

  • Engage in activities related to mechanical engineering technology with technical competency kept abreast with current technological development specializing in automotive engineering.

  • Participate in activities for continuous self-development and societal betterment grounded with ethical and professional standards.
