About This Programme

Master of Technical and Vocational Education program aims to produce teachers with high skills based on relevant theories and practices as well as demonstrate the authority of a professional teacher in the field of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) based on the National Philosophy of Education and the Philosophy of Teacher Education.

Admission Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with Honors from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia or from any institution of higher learning recognized by the UTHM Senate or other qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's degree with experience in a related field recognized by the UTHM Senate, OR Lifelong Learning, APEL A Level 7 (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning, APEL).
Prerequisite/Other Qualifications
- The minimum CPA is 2.50 (coursework) or 2.75 (research), and
- The English language requirement is MUET Band 3.5 or TOEFL iBT 40 or IELTS / IELTS Online 5.0.
- Exemption from the English language requirement will be given to international candidates or students who graduate in Malaysia.
Candidates are not disabled members who complicate practical work and learning and teaching activities.
The requirement of students to take any special courses for those who do not meet the admission criteria, general and specific requirements as per the Senate approval for this program is irrelevant.
