Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with honours in a relevant field and a minimum (3.00 ≤ CGPA), without work experience; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree with honours in a relevant field and those not achieving a CGPA of 3.00 (CGPA < 3.00) can be accepted, subject to a minimum of work experience in the related field. One (1) year of work experience is equivalent to 0.1 GPA; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree with honours in a relevant field and a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not achieving 3.00 (2.5 ≤ CGPA < 3.00) can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment conducted and endorsed by the Faculty’s Graduate Studies Committee; OR
• Applicants without qualifications in a related field or without related work experience, or both, must undertake and PASS prerequisite courses specified by the faculty. Applicants need to achieve a minimum grade of B and meet the minimum CGPA based on the admission requirements mentioned in 1 and 2.
• This programme also accepts students through APEL.A (APEL T-7) according to the criteria set by the MQA.

English Requirements

• Local and International applicants who have graduated from universities in Malaysia are exempt from the English requirements.
• International applicants must have a minimum English qualification of IELTS level 6.0, MUET Band 4.0, or an equivalent standard.
• International applicants who have graduated from universities in designated English speaking countries may also be exempt from the requirement.
