Bachelor of Real Estate Management with Honours

Bachelor of Real Estate Management with Honours (BPD) programme offered by the faculty of Technology Management and Business (FPTP) aims to produce graduates who are mature and smart to meet national needs for skilled workers and experts in the field of real estate management in public and private sectors, or self-employed. Graduates in real estate management program have many opportunities to involve in property valuation fields including, executive property valuers for government institution such as Department of Valuation and Property Services (JPPH), National Valuation Institute (INSPEN) and Local Authority, as well as private firms at local and international level. Graduates in real estate management program are also involved with real estate agencies, property development, property consultancy services and data analytics related fields. In addition, graduates are also encouraged to be involved in entrepreneurship and create other job opportunities for other graduates. With the current development of big data and data analytics, the opportunity of selecting elective studies in portfolio management and geographical information systems (GIS), as well as asset valuation and international real estate, will further enhance their opportunities in the new niche area. Students are encouraged to explore and participate in new technologies during their studies and be more analytical throughout their bachelor degree project to have extra advantage over their fellow peers.
